Where to learn more about sustainability

Over the years writing about sustainability, I’ve stumbled across or been recommended a tonne of brilliant resources. Unlike some industries or niches, sustainability never stands still. One day, everyone thinks leggings made from recycled bottles is the invention that’s going to save the world. The next, we’re all worrying about microplastics and the footprint of manufacturing all those bottles.

Similarly, the language around sustainability shifts constantly. Just recently, slow fashion brand Lora Gene advised we replace the phrase ‘garment workers’ with ‘garment professionals’ to recognise the skill and craft the professionals bring to the industry. To make sure I’m giving my clients the best possible service, I do as much reading as I can to stay up to date with what’s being said, shared and understood.

Wading through the greenwashing and scaremongering isn’t always easy. So, I’m sharing with you my tried and tested favourite resources for learning more about sustainability.
