Leadership coach - persuasive web copy for landing pages
I began working with Tim when he had a launch coming up. He needed a landing page for his exciting new Emotional Intelligence Team Training and I was the person to get the copy working hard.
It was the height of the pandemic, so Tim was keen to emphasise the value of this course at such a strange and challenging time. He developed the course especially to meet organisations’ changing needs and we took care to highlight this responsiveness in the copy. Equally, it was important to point out that the training could happen fully remotely.
We used lots of devices to break up the copy and make it interesting and readable. Rhetorical questions, bullet points and subheadings guide the reader through the page, allowing them to pick the information they want or need to read.
As with any good landing page, we started with the headlines. The further down the page, the more detail you get. Though of course we took care to drop CTAs throughout for those who don’t need any more convincing.
At the end, we reiterated the main benefits and left a final hook to encourage sig up. The copy is clear, concise but also full of dynamism and energy to really embody what time was all about as a coach and what clients could expect from his training style. We mixed in some testimonials, images and detailed breakdowns of what’s involved to entice the more considered thinkers as well as the more impulsive buyers.
