Freelance graphic designer - web copy

 đŸŽŻ

Joey is a Manchester-based food and drink brand designer. She came to me wanting to infuse her web copy with her fun and out-there IRL personality. She also wanted to take advantage of her customer base to pepper her copy with food-based word play.

The challenge was that Joey had a fascinating and winding journey to becoming a freelance brand designer. We wanted to find a way to weave it all in to convert those clients.

✏️

We kicked off with a tone of voice interview. As well as the privilege of an hour with her fun personality and passion for her work, I got to really understand Joey and how she speaks. Then, we had a series of content workshops to hash out what we wanted to say on each page to guide the customer to book that discovery call.

Then it was all down to me to marry the care and attention Joey pours into her client projects, the quirky, food-themed flavour and the copy she’d need to nab that client cash.

💡

“I want to say I love them!” Joey told me when she received the final pages of copy. She even shouted me out on her Instagram (is there a greater accolade?!) saying I’d “been a huge huge help”. But the proof is in the pudding. Since going live, Joey has been booked out with a waiting list of up to three months.
